Do you love to fish in the Northwest?

I do, too. Inside, I'll give you information on fishing in eastern Washington and North Idaho. I try to keep all the information as timely as I can. Without YOU sending me in reports, this page cannot exist. Thanks to everyone who sends in their accurate fishing reports

I have a new HOTSPOT report on the Grand Ronde from March, 2012.

I am still running these pictures from years past because I don't have NEW pictures for this page. Get me some pics and I'll post them here. My friend Petrofski has been on this page long enough.

Thanks for the picture John

Eric sent me these three pictures of a recent steelheading venture down on the Clearwater.

Here is his report (dated Feb 26th) and pictures.

Red n black jigs worked really well in the afternoon, with partly sunny skies. Black n black did ok in the mornings. Didn’t get a strike with any other colors nor did we get a strike between 9am-2pm. We fished Peck, and below the Dam, doing better below the dam.

I've had the 90hp Evinrude on my Duckworth since I bought it new in 1994. I've used it hard both inland and on the coast and it was getting tired. I had it in for repairs and maintenance last summer, and Dan at the Elephant Boys pointed out that two of my cylinders were scored and that it might fail soon. Not being in the market for a new motor at the time, I had him finish the repairs and off we went. Fishing at CDA for chinook on a nice day last November, the motor took a crap on us and we limped from mid-lake back to our launch site at the north end (at least we caught one 8 pounder).

I met up with Ed, Marc and Dan at the Spokane Boat Show last month. They did very well during the show despite the current economic slowdow....good testiment to their claim to be the "Discount Marina" in the Inland Northwest. We looked at my options and I chose a 115hp Evinrude E-TEC. They gave me a fantastic price and got me out of the shop about a week after I brought my boat in. You can't beat that. Their willingness to work with me and the quality of the work done has me believing that we will be doing business for a long time. This plug for them is not paid for. I just wanted to share with you my experience with these guys and their service and products. You can find them online at www.elephantboys.com .
